More kawaii-ness that is Tidus

It was another hot Saturday afternoon. Yaning (Tidus' nanny) and I agreed we'll go to the supermarket with the little one and hang out at the bakery there because of the A/C. However, when we got there, a family of three had the same idea as ours and occupied the lone table. I then decided we go to Chowking, to have halo-halo but it was a few blocks away. We took the trike and in a minute or so, we were in halo-halo land. BUT Chowking's A/C was on blower mode, and it wasn't as cold as expected. We had no other choice though and we ordered two halo-halos.

Tidus became curious of the treats once the waiter placed our orders in front of us. Seeing me and Yaning eat with our spoons, we observed that he was also licking his lips, imitating probably our actions. Tidus couldn't eat anything other than formula (he just turned 3 months old) so I just let him pretend to eat from my spoon.

The colorful sago, gulaman and ube ice cream certainly had him wide-eyed. :)

He is the one that has kept me busy for the past 12 months. He is my new adventure. The love of my life. Since I've come back to work a week ago, I've been missing him and I've turned over a new leaf by going to work early so I can leave early to be with him.

With this announcement, you'd probably be flooded with his pictures and stories on motherhood in this blog from now onwards.

New chapter

Soon, a new chapter in my life will unfold. Life changing stuff. I can't fully disclose right now. But I hope I will be happy with the decision I made. And I hope you will also be happy for me.

Shopping for cute stuff

Clipper has always 'trapped' me whenever I pass by their store in Trinoma. I can't help but buy cute stuff from there even if it's just a note pad or a pen. These are my latest hauls from the store, the notebooks I've given to my niece Gaby and friend Nicole. The band-aid post-its are mine :))

My poor neglected blog

What the hell happened to blogger while I was gone? LOL. So what's been happening in my life as of late? I've finally taken a summer vacation since summer of 2009, this time with Nicole and the rest of the gang to Potipot, Zambales. I would like to tell you more about it but then I'm still too lazy to write anything longer than 5 paragraphs. Hehe. Everything's documented on Facebook anyways, so there. :)

 Oh and there's this summer love to look forward to. Hopefully this can blossom to an all-season thing, year round. ;)

 Here's a reminder of our Potipot trip, sunburn! Hopefully there are more memories left to make till the remainder of summer 2012.

Maundy Thursday

Told myself I'd clean up the house over the long weekend, starting with defrosting the ref. Cleaned out the moldy and expired stuff. Smelly cheese eeew. LOL. My 'assistant' was very diligent in removing the ice inside the freezer. It looked liked the North Pole. And now it's clean! Yey!

I'm thinking of frying some dumplings, now that I've unearthed them from the ice. Hee hee.

Tomorrow, the broom meets my room. :)
